Then and Now

This is two pictures in one actually!

The little one shows what Skyiler looked like when he was younger this is before the scientists captured him
when he was 10 years old *120 cycles* he looks all happy curious and playful and carefree.
The larger image shows him after the bunker a few years later, actually he broke free when he was 13 years
it took him years to learn to trust another person again and the only ones he does trust are people in the martian palace
His sister and a few others.

He does not trust humans at all, yet he has adopted a human child named Faith.
His expression has totally changed to one filled with pain and hatred.
Had it not been for people helping him so much to regain most of his past self he'd be a danger for everyone and everything.

This is pretty much a mirror image of myself.
I was once a happy person... still am, but hidden under that is someone who's been hurt too many times.

But still I toss such things aside and step up to help someone who needs it.
But when it comes to me... I usually have to pick myself up...
